May Is Better Hearing Month

FDA / HI Health Innovations UHC Update: 
It was recently announced that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a cease and desist letter to hi HealthInnovations regarding the online hearing test. In the letter it was stated that hi HealthInnovations failed to comply with the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic act requiring marketing clearance for the online hearing test. Audiology at the Capitol

May 8 was the second annual Audiology Meet Your Legislator Day in Springfield.  ILAA VP of Governmental Affairs Marie Vetter and ILAA President Steven Hallenbeck were joined by five Au.D. students from NIU.  Thanks to everyone who participated for putting such a great face on audiology in Illinois!
