Doctoral Scholarship Winners

This year’s recipients of the Au.D. scholarships are Courtney Coburn from Northwestern University and Robert Risley from Rush University, and the recipient of the Research Award is Samira Anderson from Northwestern University.  Congratulations to the winners, and thank you to all the outstanding applicants!

Member Spotlight
Ann PerreauNew ILAA member Ann Perreau is new to the state of Illinois. She is a doctoral graduate of University of Iowa with additional training in the cochlear implant program at UIHC. She is employed at Augustana College in Rock Island, where a new audiology clinic has been established in the Center for Speech, Language, and Hearing. Currently they provide hearing testing for adults and pediatrics, OAEs for newborn hearing screening, and soon will be dispensing hearing aids. In addition she is a mentor for undergraduate students who are observing/assisting.

The Illinois Academy of Audiology is proud of our members who take leadership roles and provide outreach to their communities. Check back often to read about other outstanding ILAA members.
