2026 Conference FAQs

Where is the conference being held and is there parking?

The conference is being held at the NIU Naperville Meeting and Conference Center at 1120 E Diehl Rd, Naperville, IL 60563. There is ample free parking.

What time is the conference?

The conference runs from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM on Thursday 2/5, followed by happy hour and a comedy show. On Friday 2/6, the conference runs from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Please find the schedule above.

What food will be served at the conference?

On Thursday, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and hors d'oeuvres, as well as drinks, will be served. On Friday, breakfast, lunch and snacks will be served.

What is the attire?

The attire is business casual. Please wear layers, as the temperature of the venue can be unpredictable.

What do I need to bring to the conference?

Please bring a charged smartphone. Notebooks and pens will be provided.

How many CEUs can I earn at the conference?

Up to 1.2 CEUs (12 hours) can be earned across both days of the conference.

Does ILAA report CEUs to any organizations? 

If you have provided your AAA number, ILAA will report your CEUs directly to AAA. ILAA does not report CEUs directly to ASHA or any other organization.

What should I do if I can no longer attend the conference?

Please email [email protected]. Refunds for cancellations prior to January 5, 2026 will be processed less a $25.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations received between January 6, 2026 and January 24, 2026 will receive a 50% refund of registration fees. ILAA regrets that refunds are not given for cancellations received after January 24, 2026 or for no-shows.
